Valentine Camp Facilities
Valentine Camp’s facilities consist of a log classroom building constructed in 2000, three renovated log cabins constructed in the 1920s, and the Kohler tool shed. Each cabin has cooking, sleeping, bathroom facilities, electricity, spring water, and limited parking/storage space. There is no food or custodial service.
The University Cabin
The University Cabin is a three bedroom, two bath house that sleeps up to eight people. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and dining. Food is supplied by the user.
Old Valentine Cabin
The Old Valentine Cabin is a two bedroom, one bath house that sleeps up to six people. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and dining. Food is supplied by the user.
Cook Cabin
The Cook cabin is a one bedroom, one bath house that sleeps up to four people. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and dining. Food is supplied by the user.
Education Center
The Education Center was built in 2000 and is mainly used for the Outdoor Science Education Program. Access may be permitted to some researchers and research groups depending on availability
Kohler Shed
The Kohler Shed is where the caretakers and stewards keep tools and equipment. Some tools may be available to researchers upon special request. Researchers don’t have direct access to the shed.
